Skinnies?

Those appear to be bias ply. I've been looking at their front runners for 15 inch wheels and getting close to buying a set. But I need 28 inches tall and they only come in bias ply as well.

I can get skinnies for 15 inch wheels in 26 inch tall in a radial,,,but any taller and they make them in bias ply only for the added sidewall strength.

With that said I would think you could find skinnies for the 17 inch wheel and only 26 inches tall in a radial,,,since there isn't much sidewall there to worry about. Just thinking outloud.

I've been searching on and off for the past week or two and the M&H was the only thing that popped up. Hoosier has a Pro-Street frontrunner radial that would be about an inch wider than the M&H. Better to stick with a radial?

It depends on how you like the car to drive. Bias plys don't give the soft ride that radials do, and they tend to follow ruts in the road.
I personally don't mind the bais plys. Run a set of factory goodyear bias ply reproductions on my firebird for years. You get used to it and don't even notice after a while.

I can only find the size skinnies I need in bias ply only, so that's what I'll end up with,,,and drag radials on the back.

That answers my question - thank you. The skinnies would only be for the track and maybe a few local car shows.
