Camaros are ok. I just don't like that they are so heavy now. I also think that only a few colors look good too!

All of the cars being made now are pigs compared to the older models... Everything is either 4,000 lbs or almost that.

I think it will be a promising engine. The aftermarket will do what they always do to these cars and make them better!

Yep, the boat tail is kinda funky, but it's not quite as much of a bloated misproportioned whale

    brand loyalty

it's a machine, buy what you like/need. Gm doesn't give a shit about you, why be loyal to them instead of picking something by it's merits

So true, but this isn't the "I love My Lil' Pony" website and I just wonder why it's always brought up here. Maybe I'm just missing it. You start a thread on a site dedicated to a GM product and bring Mustangs up.

I'll support it since it's American made.

I'm not arguing with you... I was never a ford fan though and never will be and I owned 2 5.0 fox bodies back in the day, when I took on trade other was free. And to me they didn't compare to f-bodies or mopars which are what I was always into. My friend has a 600hp cobra vert that gets 24+ mpg and it runs great, but I'd take many other cars before it. Mustangs were always good cars to mod and 412hp out the gate is pretty good... they always had the potential but the factory never did what they could.

Lots? It's got a forged crank, that's it. The rods are powdered metal and the pistons are hypercraps.

Well it is the AAG... Just saying. I know since I own a Mustang I suck great big donkey balls. At least that is usually what I hear until they see tail lights. Made in the USA is the only thing that matters.

the rods or forged powdered metal and the pistons are high compression pistons, and thats all they said about the pistons so how do you know their crap? I believe it specifically said stronger forged powdered metal rods also get your facts straight!!! Also its alot more forged parts than gm puts in their cars!!!

Not really. Ls1 is forged crank, powdered rods and hypereutectic pistons also. 04 Cobras had Manly (I believe) forged rods with ARP bolts. Not needed in this application (no blower) so I doubt they'd spend the money for this without bragging about it.

What I am saying tho is they have a forged crank with forged powdered metal connecting rods it states it in the brief description of the motor!!! They bragged about the only 2 things thats forged!!

    I couldnt agree more.
Trans AM/Camaro Better car, but poor salesmanship and marketing
Mustang Lesser car, but great salesmanship and marketing

Lets not forget when they stopped making F-Bodies how many people buying new had no choice but to buy a Mustang, unless they had 60k for a Vett. Ford had the entire "affordable" muscle car market
for 12 yrs. That has alot to do with thier success.
Just another reason I f*%king hate GM.
