whats better. A hot chick that isn't good in bed or an ugly chick that is amazing in bed. what would you rather be seen with?
Imo i would laugh at any camaro if it looks azz even if it had 1000 hp. Looks > performance its why we drive camaros no? If it was all about power we'd all have Litrebikes and we would be on gixxer.com or r1.com.
Now go get those springs and slap yourself for considering the cutout.

Do not cut springs!
Cutouts are nice and will get you 10rwhp, but that all depends on what you want to do with the car. If you plan on drag racing it a lot, do not lower it. That will hurt you more than help. I would wait until you know what the plans are and save the money towards that goal.

sort of a ricer mentality haha. you don't put a big cam in with no supporting mods just for the sound. you just don't. it's wrong. and it's stupid. suspension is just as important. you don't take shortcuts just to make your car "seem" cooler. suspension effects how your car does pretty much everything. the ride. the launch. the turning. the stopping. without any of those things i don't care how good a camaro looks. at that point it's a sebring in my eyes.
putting on a part that actually will add a little power and make a car sound more aggressive (maybe not awesome, but more aggressive) is a far better investment than a part that will cause the shocks to wear out and ride quality to get progressively worse and worse.Last edited by creeper; 01-19-2010 at 03:54 AM.

Basically, EVERYBODY has THEIR OWN OPINION based on WHAT THEY'VE done to THEIR car. At the end of the day do what YOU WANT TO DO.....just make sure it's an INFORMED decision. Think about the pros and cons of whatever choice you make.
If any of us pose a question, we would get 100 different answers!! Just read up on your choice, feel good about what you choose, and be happy bro............

I think you said it best.
Creeper ya I guess I do have what some would call a ricer mentality. My ideal car is an enzo ferarri. I built my vette with the complete package suspension, driverain, chassis everything. I guess when it comes to the maro I picked it up for a daily driver I'm really just not giving it the respect it deserves. In the end if it were just those 2 mods I would personally feel better looks over 10 hp is more than worth it. 10 hp at a certain point in the rpm band and only having it at WOT is not as good as looking Sexy ALL the time with springs. But on the downside if you value ride over looks perhaps a cutout is your thing. I am obviously not the same as the op as I bought my springs and wheels before I even bought the car cuz I already was too embarassed to drive it stock lol
