Jailbreaking alone doesnt get you all free apps. There is an app in the cydia that gets you the apps free.

So basically there is an app in the app to get you the apps

Yeah, I was saying you don't get apps from the official Apple App Store for free. If you want to download "Shazaam Encore", you can't go to Cydia, Installous, Rock and get it for free....unless there's a program on it that allows you to do so, which I haven't found yet.
