In college, I was at an intersection in the right-most lane pulling up to a red light when the Geo Metro next to me ran through it going in the same direction. The truck that hit it threw the Geo into an oncoming motorcycle, knocking the passenger and rider off.

I ran over to the Geo because there were already folks running to the motorcyclists. The old man in the passenger seat was sucking air with a collapsed chest/lungs. He died pretty quickly with me standing next to him. The wife was in complete shock, never taking her hands off the wheel or looking anywhere, heck, she probably didn't even blink.

When more people arrived we helped the paramedics rip the door off (the frame was bent just enough to keep it from opening). The lady had a piece of her femur sticking through her leg, but very little blood.

Creepiest sh1t ever, being 1 foot away from a dying stranger who's gasping for his last breaths.
