but if they go 19-0 they get something that money can't buy..... a place in the history books along side the 72 dolphins. To me that's much more important than money and well worth the risk. All of those guys are rich as hell anyhow....wouldn't you rather be known for going 19-0? It's not like Indy has never won the superbowl or won't ever get back. They have just as good a shot of making it next year to the superbowl as they do this year but a chance at 19-0 is a once in a lifetime chance most likely.

Don't forget how the Colts' decision has ramifications throughout the NFL. I can certainly see their point in not playing starters, but as a result, the team lucky enough to be their opponent that night (in this case the Jets) now are a front-runner for an AFC wildcard spot. All they need to do now is beat Cinci next week and they're in. If the Colts had played to win, the Jets probably would have lost, and be all but eliminated from the playoffs. Lots of other teams' fans (Pittsburgh, Houston, e.g.) are pissed at them as well that they gave the Jets a freebie.

good point .. but remember we are not saying that we think what they did was right or not .. thing is do the fans have a right to get their money back.. They bought a ticket to see the Colts and thats what they saw ... The guys who played the rest of the game , although not the 1st string, were Colts...

Ignorant fucktard fans, I seriously hope Indy does not even make the SB, with whiny ass bitchy fans like this, they don't even deserve to have an NFL franchise.

This thread got me to thinking, I wonder when fans are gonna wake up and realize pro athletes are the most over paid profession there is and stop supporting the ridiculous salaries these guys make by not going to the ballparks and stop buying all the shit.

Check this one out. My wife is an RN at Ohio State. On football Saturdays she's not allowed to park in the hospital parking garage (which she buys a year pass for) so the fans can park there. Ain't that messed up? I think that says where the university is getting most of their money from. She has to park in a open field about a mile from the Hospital.

I use to go to Busch Stadium alot back in the 70's. I loved to watch the Cardinals baseball and football. Back when the game was played for love of the game. Times have changed and it is now about the all mighty dollar. This is one of the main reasons I do not watch pro sports. Heck college and highschool are all about money now also.. It is crazy IMO for fans to ask for their money back. Just like it is crazy to file a lawsuit when I spill coffee on myself...

Well, if you look at how much the owners of pro sports teams make, it makes sense that the players demand a bigger cut all the time. They still play for the game, but why let the owner get 80% and the other 20 go to the players, when the split can be much better? I don't know percentages, but I do know the owners are not exactly hurting, so I have no problem with the players getting their fair share.

Much truth in that... Moneys ruined everything... hell even racing. Look at Nascar. Its not about racing anymore, its about sponsorship and money. Damn shame. I have to agree, yea i think the Colts probably made a bad decision but honestly the fans have no right to get there money back. As stated before... im a skins fan and bought tickets to a few games... but i dont get my money back... whats the diffrence?
