The guy giving bad tech advice and then getting ig-nunt when called on it qualifies as an idiot.

The guy on the net who takes the bad tech advice w/o doing further research is probably just as ig-nunt as when he started, but he's not necessarily an idiot.

There's a lot of folks just getting their feet wet with auto mx/repair (evidenced by some of the basic questions asked), and there are a lot of folks who've been around the block a few times who really should know better yet still mess up.

Sadly, there are some folks who screwed up, and they want others to screw up the same way (displaced revenge)

what counts as just getting calls out as beign wrong? Disputing someone's opinion is one thing, but people go ape-shit on other people and try to make them look like idiots for being wrong. It goes both ways, you can't be a jerk when telling someone they are incorrect, and you can't get pissy cause you were wrong. I'f I'm wrong I'm aight with that, but if someone is a jerk to me about it, I'll be a jerk back -not because I can't handle being wrong but because they think they are better than you because you were wrong once. Make sense?
