Whats the story on Balto?

Balto was the lead dog of a dog sled team sent to a remote town in Alaska to deliver urgent medicine. Had to travel some of the most treacherous parts of the countryside there during a blizzard.

The story was made into an animated movie in the 90's, which I remember fondly.

Good story, I can say I learned something new today. I had a Siberian Husky for 13 years, maybe the best dog I ever had. I want another one someday. I still miss him to this day.

Ditto for me, don't really ever recall encountering many dogs in life that I didn't bond with.

Me either. But, then again, I'm the type that has just spent the last week nursing a sick Praying Mantis back to health. Now he won't leave during the day and I bring him in every night and find myself bug hunting for him every morning

My neighbors Cujo lil ass dog was in my front yard when I got home the other day from work. It was barking like crazy at me, but looked harmless. I was being friendly and calling him. Here boy here boy......

It came after me and leaped towards my leg and the fawker bit me. WTF....

The neighbors are watching this dog until they find out what to do with it. it was previously owned by my neighbors grandfather, who passed away. Now the dog hates everyone apparently.
