    2002 Trans Am WS-6. 200,456 miles.
water pump(gasket failure, not pump failure),power steering hose, alternator(caused by leaking power steering hose),catalytic convertor(later reimbursed by Pontiac via recall),left side power window motor, both sail panel speakers, and the normal maintenance stuff(brakes, tires, belts, and hoses).been a damn good car.needs a new transmission(slipping in 4th gear and leaking) and rear axle(grinding, making popping noise).overall very good car considering how much it has been driven.

    Sorry.

2001 Pontiac Grand Ma GT. Starting to need little stuff, but overall been pretty good. Window regulator, EGR valve, lower intake manifold gasket (been replaced), thermostat.
    It has 113,600 on it.

    1999 WS.6. Always something.

82 monte don't count ,those were not repairs as much as heavy duty mods
73 chevy truck same as above
    89 jeep cherokee 110k
    1) 2 water pumps-first time was because it was the orignal and worn out second because the first replacement locked up

    2) harmonic balancer- stupid 2 piece design that decided to start coming apart

    3) 3 serp belts 1st was cracking(original) second got ate by the harmonic balancer "walking" and last was because the water pump locked up

    4) 1 alt to replace the worn out non working original

    5) fuel tank- previous owner thought it was a good idea to screw an amp, speaker box ect to the rear cargo compartment.......with really long screws.

    6) fuel pump/sending unit- new tank thought might as well

    7) cps- worn

    8)right front fender,header panel,grill,radiator ect - effin deer

    9) on my 3rd set of tires, the ones that came on it was about gone so bought a set of GY GS-A's then last year after 36 k miles on them went with cooper discoverer ATR's

    10) valve cover gasket- original and leaking

    11) front brakes and rear brakes with rotors, drums, wheel cylinders, calipers, hoses ,combi kit,and a good flushing . probably could have got away with just the pads, shoes rotors and drums but Brakes are veryu important in NJ- bunch of non-driving bastads

    12) e- brake cable- wasn't one on it when I bought it

    13) 2 exaust systems 1st to replace origanal second because the first was a cheap suck bawls brand

    14) battery- obvious reason was the other one was old and dead. 10 years on a battery though is pretty dang good for a cheapie.

    15) fuel pump ballast resistor- original and broke

    16 ) 02 sensor - original and went bad

    17) plugs ,wires, cap and rotor. by the looks of them I think they were factory installed...horrable shape.

    18) shocks- original,and worn

things that need to be done to it

driven to the nearest car crusher and put out of its misery, if not then...

    1) upper and lower ball joints or yank the dana 30 and the chry 8.25 out in favor of something better with a passenger side drop

    2) trans rebuilt or upgraded to a gm 700r4 (the good one) modded

    3) rebuild engine, replace with a 4.3, 5.7,a small cat diesel ,or just go for a new 5.2 inline 6 that titan engines builds

    4) a np 205 transfer case - because they are wicked strong

    5) a "real" frame

    6) more body work than anyone can imagine lol.

Had to have the transfer case serviced like 2 years ago
Had to have an axle alignment like 1 year ago
Brakes went bad like 1 year ago

I'm forgetting maybe like 1 more thing but thats it, it's really reliable and well built.

I think the valve seals are bad now, and I also think think something is going wrong with the brakes, they are starting to squeal a little. Other than that it's in tip top shape.

If you got your brakes changed only 1 year ago and they are already starting to squeal I would say you have a problem. Unless you did not change them when they went bad

Just a random question, I meant to ask you this a while back but it slipped my mind.

I know that in 07 they switched the bodystyle to the new nnbs, or whatever it's called, but then I've heard that like you could still get the bodystyle sierra and silverado that was from 00-06 as an option. Is that true?

yeah, in 07 they had the new 07 body style with the LMM engine and the 'classic' body style with the LBZ engine. the big difference between the two engines is that the LMM came with a catalytic convertor (I think) and a diesel particulate (Im sure of) filter that MUST be run on ultra low sulfur diesel fuel or you will clog the filter. it also will randomly dump extra fuel in and burn out the particulate filter to keep it clean. gay.

I got the LBZ cause it was cheaper, not a first year model engine, was in stock, and I was going to roll through Canada which I wasnt sure if they had switched to Ultra low sulfur diesel, I want to burn heating oil or kerosene if I so choose, and possibly vegetable oil without other probs.

Oh, now that sucks, I actually like the way the Classics look a little better than the NNBS's do anyways.

    Thanks for the info man.
