I don't disagree with your thinking but I do disagree with how you display it. There's nothing wrong with saying " I don't agree or believe in killing for fun" but there is something wrong with saying it the way you said it and it also makes you look like a "big dumbass redneck".
It could also be argued that both animals are nuisance animals. Rabbits eat gardens and squirrels will tear up all kinds of shit....seen it happen. So perhaps he didn't kill them just to kill them but had a reason.

My father (god rest his soul) was a pig and cattle farmer, we also had horses. My family has a 200 acre farm, I have worked farms on and off for over 20 years. Im only a part time city boy. Ive seen animals get slaughtered, im ok with it. i know where my meat comes from. I love some fresh pork and beef. But over all the years, my family has not had any problems with the big bad squirls and rabbits hurting our cattle or hogs or horses. We have had a few problems with coyotes, but when someone throws dead rabbits in the fields, they attract more dangerous animals that kill there livestock. Think about it.

And by the way, I never called you a dumb ass redneck, I said I think that people who kill animals for no reason are dumb ass red necks. If you have a purpose for killing them, I guess thats a differant story. Just my opinion.

Lord help me.... Squirrels destroy barns...chew through feed sacks et al. Rabbits systematically destroy the oats/wheat like there is no tomorrow.
