Even if it has the same traction issues, once it hooks up it should rocket away anyway. We will see......

Is that really a surprise? I will say Ford did a nice job building the modular 4.6 for power adders. Those '03-'04 Cobras were beastly cars.

i've always thought its rediculous how much they charge for shelby mustangs.... i personally like mustangs as a kid.... but then once i got a camaro i realized how dumb of a pricetag a shelby is for the performance you're getting...

seroiusly. buy a vette or a new z28 camaro.

Owning both a Built LT and a Mild 03 Cobra, the Cobra feels more connect and yes it does have a 9psi blower on it. The N/A Mach's will run too. Bang for the buck, I would honestly say Cobra. The LS takes more cash to get it to the same spot. I love both my cars, but the Cobra is more fun as the LT losses driveability as you go high into the N/A HP range.

My thoughts exactly. Just shows what a power adder can do for a little motor. Woooopy.
You can put a power adder on anything and make it fast.

that would have been a good match. the latest superchaged camaro vs latest supercharged mustang. if I remember right that camaro's power level is right in the range of the gt500.

It has a great bottom end capable of 800hp easily and beyond. That's pretty slick.

I'd be hard pressed to buy a new GM period these days. 4th Gen f-body for sure though. Drive an 03-04 once and see if you don't get giddy with the blower whine.

Yeah I'd like to see it. Honestly I'd like to see the 5.0 400hp run with the SS. That'd be a good matchup.

    Comparo!

    Chevy vs. Ford

    Stock for Stock = Chevy

    Money for Money = Chevy

Fun for Fun = Chevy ( That's when you pass by the ford in question! )

Production numbers for Production numbers = Ford

Wow! I choose the Heartbeat of America all the way!

its just the whole ford part,, just doesnt go to well with me...... just raised that way Id never invest unless it was a ford gt 40...and id give that to my dad.

And i only buy a GM if it was a truck or SUV.... I dont do their cars..

And are you talking about a Cobra with the supercharger? One problem: ford. Id honestly prefer the more classic ford stangs over new ones. But Ill tell you this, i am ALWAYS for american muscle beating foreign any day

I dont care if you want one/have one. Thats your own deal.. Just for me, no thanks

yeah it was pretty bad. looked like the wheel was bouncing side to side as much as up/down.

ford has a pretty tough mustang i gotta admit but from personal experience chevys have been more reliable.

I'd take a gt500 if it was givin to me though.

not quite ..there is around a 16k difference..same difference between the SS and the gt500...that and the vette vs mustang is always 1 sided and the two arent rivals ..lets admit..as of right now..from the factory ..the mustang has a performance advantage..everyone knows it..that is why the z28 is in the works...
