So... if I jump my POS DD with my Trans Am, and maybe install a diode in the jumper cables so that my DD can see my T/A, but my T/A can't see my DD, then my DD should download the hopped up powertrain management parameters from my T/A and really run a whole lot better. Why didn't I think of this?!

One time Sarge's battery died and I hooked up the jumper cables from mine to his. His car gave my car the clap.

My truck is carberated, so I don't know if any go fast bytes will transfer from my dad's car to mine. Might make my super coil and accel module hotter though... Seems like a typical 5th gen owner, i've already got the stereotype for this new one down around here. They're all like the guy in the original post it seems.

Man, this is terrific news!
As soon as I get home from my business trip, I'm hooking up my Saturn to my SS. Since they are both GMs, they should have a dandy conversation.
I can't wait to get the performance of the SS with the 30+mpg of the Saturn.
Smoky front wheel drive burnouts FTW!
Also, if anyone is in the area, I will offer a jumper cable copy of my LSX tune for only $5. For an additional $5, I will grope your steering wheel with my unwashed hands so that you can avail yourself of my Shumacheresque driving skills.
For no additional fee, I will touch your steering wheel stereo controls so that you can get all my radio presets.

Todays cars have more tech going on under the hood than the first space craft that put man on the moon. But I highly doubt they have come far enough yet than you can tune/retune from jumper cables........Think about it! Smart batteries??? HAHA

so if you boost your car with a honda, all of a sudden you will have very little torque, your car will sound like a KX 250, you'll break out in pimples and you cant resist the urge to wear your hat sideways...?

Read some of the beginning of that thread, they might make the guy with the magic jump start sound smart. There are at least 4 or 5 guys asking how to pull out a fuse and a discussion on how to do it.

Nice to see you don't add anything more here than you do on tech.com.. Come on with a little punk ass half sentence stab.
The bad part is that it wasn't even a good put down. I mean fucking seriously? Tough guy? Damn man, you hurt my feelings so bad, please don't come over there and make any more fun of me. Then you continue on to post up a fucking picture of "internet is tough business".
If you are going to take a stab at me about something like that at least come half ass prepared.

I am officially dumber for reading posts on that site and I have a newfound disgust for 5th gen owners(ls1.com members excluded.....mostly....)
