not the case at all. Normal everyday people I run into love the looks of the car. The only people that don't like it are old school people that know nothing but old school cars and young kids that think a performance car should look like an extra on fast and furious. My car is 5 years old and I still meet tons of people that have never even seen one. In the 5 years I've had my car I can count on both hands how many I've seen on the roads.

Dont get me wrong guys I never said they were ugly cars. But they do have a very heavy look of a modern puller car sorry.
When I had the 92 z34 out I'd been asked a trillion times what is that? I say Lumina, they almost always say "no way". Hell I've had people here @ LS1 think it was a Beretta. Some have even asked where I got the body kit. When I tell them it's factory they tend to get that puzzled look. Most folks I've come across never even heard of a z34.
PS, Their heads really spin when they ask, "what's in that thing?", and I say, "TDC".Last edited by Smittro; 07-20-2009 at 11:49 PM.

Impulse Blurr- 2004 GTO
Sleepy
I like the stealthy aspect of the car. Having an 04' with the single outlet (I got my exhaust changed last week. I'll post some pics friday) really throws people off. The guys at work were sayin' "You really wouldn't think all that power was in that thing by the looks of it". I like that. It's not a cop magnet and we've got a LOT of cops where I live. Very business attitude to the thing. A little more vaginal magnetization would be nice but I do just fine standing on two feet. I'll admit the car does it's best work from the inside but low and fast has it's advantages.

Come over in my area. I see plenty of GTO's. Mostly the later version since they have the dual outlet exhaust. I mostly see silver and blacks ones. The Blue color that they come in makes them look really nice, especially in person. I also see a lot of G8's. On Saturday I saw this nice white G8 GT with white rims. It was a beautiful car. The guy was cruising down the HOV. I couldn't catch up because I was following a bunch of cars and a Uhaul truck. I was helping a friend move, so we were in the far right lane going the speed limit.

Bought mine in Feb 06, so a little over 3 years and still love to get in her and take it for a cruse. 27,000 miles, same engine, trans, just tires, battery, and alignment so far. Pretty much stock, CIA, Stiffy, Drag bags, catch can,no muffs, D progamer, center dash guages[ should have been there to begin with], all radio fixes, a little less metal, 2 stroke oil and keep her clean. Like so many of you have said I like the fact that not many of us around. Only one I have seen was in Dallas right after I bought mine, and yes they do get a lot of thumbs up but I have had people almost crawl up my bumper to see what it was, got to love that and the fact they back off pretty fast after thet find out.

if they only knew what a pain in the ass she can be when she throws a fit lol.....i love her
That is why I call my 04 Elanor. Not in the sense that the GT500 had the same name, more of the familliar line
"Don,t start with me. No. No. Start. Start." Sort of sense when she does indeed throw a fit.
I got my 04 back in 06 with about 32,000mi on it, and it now has 55,000mi. I am considering making her my weekend fun car, and get a new A to B. I bought the car before Pontiac decided to cut the strings in 06. The car is completely stock. Altho a friend has wrecked it (yeah i twisted his neck pretty good about it. He is paying for it). I am just going to do a restore, and refurbish the interior as I go, and eventually keep it as it is only one of 478 made just like her. Thanks for the throwback guys. Its times like this that reminds me why i'd never sell her.

Although I went on a rant about jacking points it's the best vehicle I've ever owned. Bought her in January of 05 with 7,400 miles for $21,000 She now has 35k on the clock.
I bought her as an investment hoping in 20 years she'd be classic and now that Pontiac is defunked I beleive that will happen. She's 1 of 344.
I've had more fun with her than I ever thought.

Black- 2000 Pontiac Trans Am WS6
Bought mine new on June 22nd, 2006 in Summerville, S.C. I had taken my T/A in for some work that I couldn't do in South Carolina, I was working on a couple of ships there and I live in Virginia Beach, and saw a whole line of Goats looking like no one loved them.
I decided to take one for a test drive the next day and fell in love with it. The LS2, like all LS motors love the bolt ons and I have Kooks LT's, Corsa Touring Catback and a cam waiting to go in. Great car and now that Pontiac took one for the team, I have no plans on selling it ever.
