I've got an Associates in Applied Arts from the Art Institute of Dallas and I'd say I'm pretty successful and love what I do.

    Congrats on the degree, who cares how long it took, all that matters is that you went and accomplished something unlike most people. Even if it's not the degree you wanted, it is still something and can REALLY help you get a foot in the door at a good place. If you really wanted it though you should of did calculus and got a tutor or a study group. Unfortunately it's been prooven that people with "art/fashion" oriented skills lack math capabilites where as people that excel at math suck at art related skills like writing and design. So close to both degrees though you seemed to have smashed that stereotype so props!

    Wow good point!! Math is a weird subject for me. Algebra, calculous and chem math. But physics I rock! And re context in chem I'm good at. But idk my sister has her MBA in accounting.. She stole my math genes.


    But I really enjoy learning. I graduated from the citizens fire academy so I can voulenteer... And just anything I like sinking my teeth in.

    My major has changed so many times. Radiology, biology, psychology, cytotechnology and now neuroscience. Lol

    Your family should be happy for your regardless, Kristi. Mine was a $38k piece of paper, with a sticker seal on it. But, I'm a graphic artist and went to school for something pertaining to that.
