I plan on purchasing an overlay in black for the front of my white bird. How durable are they and are they easy to install? I don't have a very steady hand lol

Easy to install. They come with 3M adhesive tape pre-applied for you it is basically just a peel and stick operation. The stainless versions are already bent for you, to fit the contour of the front bird.
What makes these easy to install, is that the location is clearly defined the the existing GM design of the front plate.
I have never had anyone tell me these were hard to install, and we did our own vehicle in about 10 minutes.

You may have covered this: do you do firehawk stuff? I get questions about that all the time and would rather give people a solution than a flat "No we're not licensed for that."

The answer is that David Hamburger was contacted by us at least four times about making items for the Firehawk. Even though he said he would allow us to do it, as of this date he has not followed through. We offered him royalties, and the whole deal.
We get at least 25 requests a month for owners of his cars that want items made, but I am not going to infringe on trademarks. His customers are the ones who cannot get what they want, but it is not our fault. We have the capability to make any of his items, but not the permission to do so.
This is the proper and factual response. If he changes his mind, we will be more than happy to compensate him for the logo useage.
The owners of the cars should really contact him about it.

seeing the dark reflection here, makes me think it would be rad if you did a set in black with faux grille marks on them-it gives those louvers a nice depth

Yes we can make them out of black plastic or acrylic... your choice. They hold up just fine because our plastics are UV rated.

They will be made in different colors, different designs, and different materials. Rather than hold back products until we get them all made, we thought it would be best to get them out there as we made them. We will be matching body stripe colors with these as well.
The purpose of releasing early, was so the customers know who had these designs first. We also have had a huge number of requests for these items, and did not want to make customers wait to buy them.
At this point, we have about 10 more items that will be released over the next two weeks.
