Black on black- 2003 Bonneville SSEi S/C
Be lucky you got a grand prix and not a bonneville, at least 3 times the availability of aftermarket. Wish i'd have known that going into the purchase...but i greatly prefer the ride (due to air suspension) and styling of the bonne. ANYways, mods and 1/4 are in the sig. If i remember correctly, you have a shorter final drive over the bonnevilles and 200-300 lbs lighter. But, aside from an older supercharger, we have the same engine, so you know what you can expect with a handful of mods. Like someone else had mentioned, do exhaust + fender well intake the VERY first thing. Biggest gain. Then get a 3.5 pulley and tune it. Also, check out Intense-racing.com, i've bought everything on my car from them. Never had any problems and everything fits/works perfect. Good luck and keep us posted!
Also, I have an exhaust clip with everything on but the downpipe.Last edited by 01RaptorTA; 06-17-2009 at 01:21 PM.

The L36/L26 got a 3.29 axle but they have an even weker differential.
All have the L67 3800 Series 2 engine

good to know........is there anyway to keep the exhaust relatively quiet( a little louder than stock would be acceptable) and make performance better? I just hate for it to sound like rice( to me anyways)..........

I'd do a front pipe with either a high flow cat of no cat depending on your emission program. Mine is stock with 3" dp welded to the stock cat that went on a diet
3" U Bend delte and resonator. Doesn't really sound any louder than stock

Mine only sounds modified at idle and to 2k rpm. Under any mild to hard accel it sounds stock outside, and inside all I hear is the blower. If you went with a 3 chambered muffler it would definitely tone it down. I'd suggest getting a downpipe from ZZP (here), that will eliminate the ubend and give you a nice 3" downpipe just make sure you get a cat with it or you'll have to mess with the PCM. If ZZP ever gets their catback systems back in stock, get a whisper catback. They sound great. Otherwise, magnaflow is a good alternative.
