Not trying to jack a thread but you guys sound like the people to ask. Looking at my mods, I wanted to go 3500 stall. Its a 6 speed auto. Yes/ no? Thanks for the info and again sorry to jack.

Well I'm not sure what your powerband is for the G8 so I couldn't really tell you. BUT if you have those mods on an LS1, then 3500 would be about perfect with the amount of spray you are using. When you are using spray, you don't want to go very high on the stall and that advice is straight from Dave @ Yank.
What'd removing the sway bar do for you exactly? Just weight or did it feel a bit different? Around corners?
Yes, drag radials will help and so will a tune. Mine felt a lot better after I had it tuned.

For me at a lot more fun to drive. Taking turns ant to bad. If u take turns like you are auto crossing then it body roll hell, but besides that its a blast. Going from a dig make the transfer weight to the rear better. And if your in ''Drive" and stall it up and down, then the car tilts from side to side like your in a old school 505 or something.

Yes, I simply just remove the end links,,,makes the sway bar inop. They are easily reinstalled in a few minutes. Driving without the swaybar working is a bit dangerous for me with 90/10 shocks in front and running skinnies. So I hook mine back up for the street, it settles the shocks quite a bit and much easier to drive.
My father on the other hand doesn't care and runs his car on the street with 90/10's and no sway bar. Doesn't bother him I guess.
