My dad's homelite lasted 13 years and JUST crapped out this summer. After sitting during winter it woulnd't start. Still out in the shop now, I want to figure a way to run a belt to it off the die grinder see if I can push start it if you will. I don't know though, I sprayed a lot of ether in it and it didn't even pop.

Try a spark plug, does wonders for small 2-strokes. Also check if it has a spark arrestor screen in the muffler, may be carboned up.

Started right up for my cousin, He said my oil/gas mix might be off a little. So Ill put up for a littttle while longer until I can kill it and my get an echo or husquvarna.

Had a Shindaiwa for 5 yrs runs like a champ! Weed eat for bout 2hrs twice a week. My brother bought a Stihl at the same time he has had alot of trouble out of it? Just not the quality they were.
