I have been pulled over 8 times...
First time I was 16 yrs old, right after the "you can have more than one person in the car" restriction was lifted.. had a ton of people in my car.. In a school zone, It was snowing, I ignored the crossing guard and the cop who pulled me over has a record of RARELY ever letting people go with out giving them a ticket first. Not sure how I got out of that. I just admitted I was speeding and didnt see the guard cuz my then car defroster didnt work and I had to wipe it with a towel. I think he felt sorry for me and let me go.
Second time I was stopped at a red light, and turned right, but came out quickly looking like i didnt stop. I pulled out in front of the sheriff... he pulled me over for not stopping but I swore to him I did and he let me go.
Next few times was down a hill... just got warnings..
Then another school zone when I was 18 before school started, he gave me a verbal warning.
Then a couple more times down the same hill as before. The time where he said he would give me a ticket, the cop happened to know my sister and just gave me an actual warning, but didnt ask for my insurance which was expired.
And that last time was for turing right as the light turned red.. a chick pulled me over. at 6am and let me go with a verbal..
I havent been pulled over in my SS yet.. so hopefully I wont cuz I def cant afford a ticket! lol

The first part, I nearly shot my cigarette across the room!LOL
I think once you had him fired up there was no changing his mind on the ticket. Sometimes you could just spit fire when you know you've done nothing wrong enough for more than a warning. He could have just told ya to take it off. You're right though about the part where he could've checked it without pulling you over. I'm willing to bet by the time he got up to your door the only thing he "did'nt" know was who was driving. Your answers to him are priceless.LOL

Haha I got pulled over by a lady cop once in a point check.
I fling my cigarette out the window, wind catches it, bouces right off her nose! She was soooo pissed. I though she was going to either beat me to death or pull her side arm and shoot at me. She's screaming so loud I dont even know what she's sayin', my eyes are closed tightly cuz she's actually spitting while screaming. Makes me pick up the cig butt and put it in my pocket. Gives me a damn' littering ticket and sends me on my way.
LOL I think the only word I got out was "sorry?"LOL

navy blue metallic- 2002 Camaro SS
Damn, my first time getting pulled over was when I was 16, had not had my license for more than a week or two and was driving my car back then, a 1992 Camaro RS with the 305 and was leaving my small apt around 1am with a friend, and in the process of showing off in front of her, proceeded to fish tail RIDICULOUSLY around the corner, almost lost control of the car, but was able to bring her back and just as I pulled up to the light that was half a block down, a cop had been sitting there the WHOLE time watching me at the red light.
Needless to say, he pulled me over as soon as I got to the light and I told him I had seen a puppy crossing the road and since the girl with me cried out to not hit it, I fish tailed around the corner to avoid killing it lol......I was nervous as shit and the cop obviously didn't believe me, so he wrote me the ticket for exhibition of power and speed....sucked but it got me brownie points with the girl at the time for having made up such bullshit in front of the cop haha

Ha ha. My first f-body was the 92' 25th anni with the 350. I was 20 and headin' down towards town on the high way when out of nowhere a silver caprice slides up along side me. I look over everything looked normal about the car. The guy drivin' gives me the "thumbs up" and punches it down. So I punch it down as soon as we make eye contact again he slams on his brakes. I let off look up ahead dont see anything look back in my mirror there he is lights flashin'. I had no clue he was an under cover state trooper. The car he was in was completely stock, nothing on it looked suspect. I get a nice $240.00 ticketfor agressive driving and drag raceing. At that time I only had a minimum wage job makin' 4.25 per hr. I'm like, how the hell am I payin' this? He said, "NOT MY PROBLEM". Live and learn I guess.LOL

If i remember this right I was 17:
I got pulled over for my parents car having a tail light out. Fix it ticket, no big deal.
1 week later i got pulled over for speeding 35/25. Same cop different town. Warning.
1-2 weeks later I got pulled over for 78/60. I was late for curfew, which was dumb cuz i don't think my parents would of even cared if I was late. It was the same cop again, so i got a ticket.
I haven't really sped much since then. It was a good lesson.

Red- 2000 SS '89 IROC-Z
There's this diner in Villa Park, Illinois. My buddies and I always went there to eat, and it happened to be the local cop diner.
We were really good friends with the manager, and he was friends with the cops. He convinced me to go ask out, and drop my number to a fem-cop sitting eating with two of her "co-workers;" who were two huge dude cops. I did it. And she said "Uhhh, I'm pretty sure you're too young." I just walked away and said "Trust me, I'm not."
The next week we went back and the fem-cop in civvys was sitting with her family. The manager Peter was taking me to my table and brought be to the family and was like, "Oh, Mr. So-and-so (Fem cop's Dad), this is the young man that asked your daughter out last week. He looks up and me, frowns, and says, "Son, that's the rudest thing I've ever heard of."
So I laughed in his face, then sat down and drank my coffee. The fem-cop was really hot though.

Black- 2002 ws6 (6 speed)
i had a run in with the cops last sat. night.. i was out meetin a friend to give him my blackouts(just VHT'd my lights) and his buddy wanted a ride in my car so i said cool lets go.. so i was gonna give him a feel from about a 50 roll so i hit it from 50 to 100 then slowed back down to the speed limit (50mph).. well apparently there was a cop hiding in a dark spot across the median and my friends behind me called me after i had slowed back down and told me to hit it because the cop just sucked them off the road with his lights on comin for me..
so im like Sh!t.. so i slam it back into secound just as i start to see the lights flyin up on me and pull through the gears(off the speedo) and take an exit with my lights off and get away...
i was nervous as crap and thanked the lord that that my car was as fast as it is and we were on the highway with no cars AND that my buddy was back there. they said he gave up and turned his lights off and turned around because he had NO chance of catching me. and this was a hemi charger (345hp) with a police package.
man i got LUCKY. just thought id share with yall
haha cop was like yea im gonna get him OMG never mindthats an ls1

Pewter- Y2K WS6
the worse the economy gets the more tickets will be given. a local town replaced a Yeild (aka slow and go) sign with a STOP sign then posted a cop to watch it.

Navy Blue Metallic- 98 T/A, 00 FBVert, 78T/A
I got a ticket in OK, it was 3am coming back from Indy going to Denton, TX, a local blew by me at the end of a construction zone. I got pulled over, was respectful. He asked the usual...Do you know why I pulled you over, I said no, of course he said I was speeding, I said no I wasn't the guy in the brown car that blew by me was...He said he was aiming at me....and proceeded to give me the ticket, after I got the ticket, told him he was full of shit, that he gave me the ticket cause I had out of state plates and knew I would not come back to fight it. I also said I knew he was full of it cause I had a radar detector (Cobra) and knew he was fishing for speeders so that was why I was at the speed limit....So to F' with him....I kept rescheduling the court dates a couple of times before I finally paid it......$158. Oh when I told him he was full of it he said the video camera will show that he was aiming at me. I said fine, my I see said video now, cause I damn sure when you get back to your station tonight and reveiw it you will see the other car you ignored and came after me and that said tape would convently disapppear when the court date comes up...
I get along with most LEO however you do come across Asses!!!
