They are all the highest level of paramedics that you can get MICU, that means they know what the fck they are doing.

Paramedics ARE the Highest Level of EMT's... MICU is the type of Box they roll in....

We have 5 M.I.C.U.'s.... 2 Quints... 1 Extreme Res-Q... A 2500gal 10-Wheel Drive Heavy Attack... And a shit load of pumper/tankers and brush trucks.... and we are ALL volunteer...............

We Fought a 43,000 acre Wildland Fire in '05, took 4 days to put it out....
They are far from close to the MOST qualified....

I've seen TCFD in action.... And stand by my previous statement.../rant

I've seen TCFD in action.... And stand by my previous statement...

Ok... TC is like a pebble compared to those cities.. We only have 3 fire stations, and we have the fastest call times.

We have 3 quints, 3 M.I.C.U, brush trucks and tons other sht

And besides, I wasnt comparing them to other cities. I was just saying that they are qualified, and experience doesnt make you more or less qualified,, just gives you more experience..

Just cuz my city is small doesn't mean they are under qualified. Usually some guys are at TCFD for a few years then move on to other HIGHER PAYING CITIES and large cities. Or they continue to stay for 20+ years and move up.

Your Dallas FD and FT Worth FD arent BOTH firemen and paramedics.. Usually they are one or the other and work 12 hour shifts because they do get more calls and go on runs more.

TCFD have 24 hour shifts and they are all BOTH Firemen and Paramedics...

BUT enough is enough..

back to bjs and steak!
