Has it occurred to you that the kind of lifting(and suppliments) you are doing to get your arms that big is a terrible idea with high blood pressure?

Yeah I have high blood pressure too, was put on meds for it when I was 18-19. It sucks. Huge history of it in the family. And no, I don't eat like shit. I actually eat right at least 80% of the time when I'm "off the wagon."

And they're right.. if you do have high blood pressure, it's not like you just take the meds and then keep doing what you've been doing. Lifting and all that WILL make it worse. Your doc should have told you that was a no-no. Mine did... I'm not supposed to lift weights. Exercise for me has to be aerobic or cardio.

I don't take any Supplements or pills, just Whey Protein Shakes after my workout.

I also asked the doctor, and he said the Whey Protein is safe for me.

military is not looking for body builders, they are more concerned with overall fitness with the edge going to cardio... you don't see too many body builders running marathons.
Also i can understand why they denied you, once your in, the military is respnsible for you. so should your blood pressure get worse, you drop dead or whatever... the Govt is then on the hook for paying your medical benefits... they want soldiers not more bills.

Went to high school with a guy that was 6'1 and 205, and was noticeably smaller than that.

Then again, he could be built like Johnny Bravo..

Not really, I mainly just do cardio...

But uh... I don't get your comment... I think somebody came in here after me and said that their doctor told them the exact same thing...
