My wife tired that stuff for a few years... I never said anything to her about it except when I knew she had done it and the only thing I would say is to the effect of "I wonder what is different about "it"...

Basically mu wife tired stuff like turkey chili when I make it with beef and pork... Adding tofu to spaghetti sauce... Trying splenda in cookies or adding some sort of whole grain to them...

We have come to an understanding... I will try anything she makes and if I like it then it is fine with me. If I want something the way I want it I can make it myself anytime... Like turkey...

I found a 29 pound bird yesterday... I have bread crumbs, sausage, jalapenos, red onions, celery, fresh cranberries, Bells seasoning, and real butter all set aside for the stuffing...

I also have some nice small onions and heavy cream to make creamed onions... She won't make them as they definitely add a whole new level of gas to my intestinal system.

I also found some fresh squash and fresh turnip as she would simply use the frozen stuff...

At the end of the day she basically knows if I make something from scratch it is almost always much better than what comes out of a can so I get it my way and if I don't feel like taking the time she can do it her way...

Get pissed and tell her never to do that again. You're not stupid and know the difference. Just my 2 cents. If you choose to diet, get her to support you to do it your way. I know what you mean about lite and diet shit. Just as soon do without. BTW...miracle whip........lite or regular.
