whats a rough estimation on the length of that top peice? Are you finding the aluminum frame necessary or just worth doing? how much with the box weigh? again all estimations will suffice just fine...

yeah I made it down to mason-dixson one time this spring and then spent the rest of the season working on the car.....hope to make it down there more next year

Personally, I couldn't live without the rear seat, always carrying crap and giving rides to people, plus my vert doesn't have the trunk space you hatch guys do.

taking out the rear seat was the best thing i did for my car. I can fit a lot more crap in the car and 2 less people. When ever I take the car aout and end up at a friends house I always get to say I can only take myself and one other. I save a lot of gas that way

yea sorry about that man... been busy as hell the last few weeks with the holidays... i do plan to get started again here soon. The frames built, ill have to try to take some pics of it tomorrow
