vettes are highway monsters like our cars, the lambo is good out of the hole and would kill the zo6 out of the hole, but then the lambo just falls on its face

Looks like the lambo was trying a lot harder then the z06 was...with the z06's gearing he shoulda dropped that beast into 2nd at least. I've read they can take first up to 60

the z06 sounded like a tame 427.......btw ive seen a road test done by top gear on a lambo, i believe the lambo had 3000 miles on the odometer give or take, they were quick to criticize how the shift knob was worn excesivly, cars priced so high should be flawless

I doubt the Gallardo does 0-60 faster than the Z06, I can only see this Lambo losing from the start in basically every speed contest...

The Gallardo is not AWD I don't think, correct if I'm wrong. Even if it is will it match the 3.6-3.8 0-60 (in first gear) of the Z06?? Doubt it, pretty even match if nothing else...

The lambo is AWD...520bhp...376lbs of torque....3150lbs. Site says it does 0-62 in 4 flat...top speed 196.http://www.rsportscars.com/eng/cars/...i_gallardo.asp

At the start the Z06 was only at 3k on the tach and he took his sweet time shifting. The guy in the Lambo was racing hard! I think they were friends and the guy in the Z06 was feeling sorry for his buddy.

Did someone say high quality Lambo?? I can't say I've ever heard that Lambo's were of superior build quality. Awful shifter, terrible ergonomics...those are usually associated with the charging Bulls. Well, that along with blinding speed. ;-)

Sure, the Lambo will get much more attention but that facts are the facts. Us mere mortals will never have one.

I hear the new Miura from Lamborghini will pack a 700 HP 6.0 liter....hmmm

Z06 does 190+ also....vette would've just pulled more. Everyone knows awd sucks for higher speed races

I would take the C6... keep it American. If I wanted to feel like I was in a lambo I would just have a friend sit in the passenger seat with a weed eater and shift at 6000 rpms instead of 7000 to make up for the performance difference.....

wow-great video-where'd that come from?Both cars had a cam-obviously they were there for a purpose -not coincidence.Just wonder if it wasn't a set-up-I mean it's hard to tell if both cars were giving it full throttle -full rpm or not.Awesome to watch though-thanx!

I have actually never seen a video of a Lambo engine expiring....I can't say the same for the new Z06 though...sorry, its the truth.

Just keep in mind that the AWD in those things is usually set up with smoenthing like a 90/10 rear Bias so It for the most part is rear wheel drive unless it loses traction.
