I had a speed contest and exceeding speed limit like 12 years ago. Brought my lawyer. He beat it easy. He went up and talked for like 10 seconds. Said "your honor there's no evidence of this or that, blah blah blah" and the judge said "I agree, not guilty". Like it never happened. me><cop Cost me $400 back then tho.

this makes me do the good old what if scenarios....

    Lets say--
What if Me and a Mustang are at a light- we don't spin tires, we don't redline each gear? we stay below the speedlimit of lets say 50MPH- but we get their in a spirited manner-

    Is that racing.

Maybe I take my car upto 4k and shift, 2nd gear same thing. that would probably equal about 50mph...

If that is illegal,...It is official- I think the government is growing into a nasty monster that regulates anything and everything it can.. Scary.

They advertise 0-60 mph for a reason--

    Food for thought....

I would go to court and plead not guilty. No racing involved. Let the cop prove it.

Ohh ya, read my post above. Got out of a reckless the same way once. Burden of proof is on them. Reckless and racing are tough to prove.

Wouldn't a class b require more proof than just an officer coming into court and saying "yep thats them, they were racing I tell yah".
