Am I the only one that thinks the whole, maybe they thought it was a dually and trailer full of lawn equipment, to be a pretty stupid scenario? IMHO, whoever took that thing, knew what was in it. The race was no secret.

I don't think it was a conspiracy either. If it was a winning team that might make a little more sense but these guys are competing for last place. The lawn equipment deal was just a working theory the police had. Who knows what the thieves thought was in there. They know the race is in town and a lot of money is in town too. FWIW I see some pretty nice landscaping set ups around here so to me it's not that big of a stretch. That's a big business with a lot of money invested.

I'm not saying it was some conspiracy. There are a lot theories out there. So, who really knows but the people that took it. I'm just saying that a set up like that and the race being known to most in the area, that it's not a far stretch to think there might me a car and other related items in that hauler hooked up to that dually, sitting in a hotel parking lot... When stuff like that comes to town, people know about it and the contents might seem logical.
