My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
i like 3.
it has the most "seperation" among the body surfaces w/out the reflections looking too bright especially near the running light and driver door. The windsheild is translucent enough to show some life inside the car, although, i'd prefer it darker-burn tool in Photoshop or reshoot with the ttops in to stop-down the light in the car.

Cool thing about photoshop is if you have 5 images and you like certain elements from each one-as long as your shooting with a tripod, you can layer all the photos together, then mask-out the areas from one or another layer to creat the perfect shot.
i do that all the time when shooting at night b/c the car lights will get blown out if you shoot to expose for the dark. So i'll do a few shorter exposures to get the lights, then shut off the lights and do some longer exposures to get the body detail.

I wish I could find my old photoshop 6 disc. That sure was fun playing with.

Your car is gorgeous, looks even better knowings it's beast.
I went with number four. Lot's of reasons, end result is the same. Just what I like. Makes me wish I had a WS.Sick like that in black.. Anyone want a white SS..

Thanks!
The 6 pictures in the first post are not the exact same. Same angle, same settings, but with the polarizer turned. Tripod wasn't used. I stood there and snapped them.
The pic with the clouds is an HDR shot. 3 exposures blended together using PhotoMatrix.
I am TERRIBLE with PhotoShop. So I don't use it.

I voted for number 3. I am no expert, but I liked it best, seeing partly into the car thru the windshield. And this is splitting hairs, they are all good shots IMO unless you are trying to win a contest against similar concepts. I guess beauty is hard to look bad in a picture....

The last series of pics looks fake IMO.

I think 1 and 6 from your second serious look awesome and have the boldest color of the background and best coloring of the car. The car looks too chrome in all of the others and everything seems too grayed out for my tastes.

HDR images tend to look like that because there are details you don't normally see.

I agree with your proof, but it still has that 'computer rendered' feel to it.

There is no HDR camera.
You set the camera on a tripod, and adjust the exposure rate. Then use software to blend the pics.
Agreed.
Kinda the cool part though, I didn't open those in Photoshop at all. Just the software that blends the exposures.
