shit man you could eaasily get them powdercoated accents... lines kind of like your factory ones you have now have.. or like the 88 and 89 Irocs have where the indented slits are colored and the inner lip and the rest is chrome
like this.. excuse the pic I found it on the net but it shows the rim well ...

on a third gen car, a 17 x 9 wheel with 5.25" backspacing is what fits without interference. if the wheel has 5.5" backspacing, then you'll need to grind a little off the tie rod to clear the wheel. i think it was car craft that did an article on fitting wheels on a thirdgen. this was with 275/40-17 tires.

ok so ive been dooin alot of lookin around does it effect anything that much if you go with
17x9.5 rear { 275's }
17x8.5 front { dono front }
would that work or should i just go all 9.5?? with 275 on all
-

you could do 9.5" wide with a 5.25" backspacing all the way around with a 255/40-17 so as not to rub the inner fenderwell in the front.
one of the other mags did a 17 x 9 with 5.25" backspacing with 275/40-17 all the way around. SLP even came back with their 3rd gen wheels for a short time a couple years ago.
