baseball is hard to call because a lot of players are from latin america. we get some japanese too but it was like the probowl. a lot of our true us stars just didnt want to play for whatever reason. basketball seems to have players willing to play for medals again. too bad it took over half a decade for them to get in line.

mcguire, and conseco weren't considered for the roster. giambi maybe but it was more of the fact that it wasn't taken seriously by us players because it is supposed to be america's game. i mean nobody expected a foreign team to win. sure a lot of folks worldwide wants us to lose in every sport and even beyond sports but the us is still expected to win in an american made competition.
