Someone tell me why the MAC for the 98-99 y-pipe wont fit the 01-02 LS1? I'd like a set of these but I can't find any where that sells the MAC's for an 02 model, what could be the difference? I'm sure among all these gear heads someone knows the difference.

Oh, I was wrong and IMINMY01TA is right, upstreams are in the manifold.
Now back to my question, what is the difference with the MAC's

Just FYI, I sent MAC an info request. They will have these Pipes available for the 00-02 models in about four to six weeks.

Well I agree it is late coming but it maybe worth it. Bassani is a little high for a Y-Pipe and MAC would be cheaper. Originally Posted by INMY01TA
