It finally rain here this morning. It's been unusually cooler and dry this spring. Usually we have rain every damn day, if not every other day in the afternoon. We've gone about 3 weeks since the last time it rain. My water bill has jumped $20.
Tile quest update. OMG I'm so fucking sore.....reached the kitchen area now. The spare bathroom was a PITA for such a small room. I could only do a couple of rows then stop, let it set over night, do a couple of more, let it set, then finish the last rows because the room is arrange and the cuts. Not looking forward to the kitchen area. It did take about 4 days to work out a system where once my wife lays out the pattern she wants I can lift the tile up and stack out of the way and not get it FUBAR and then get yelled at by her. Dry erase markers are a huge help.
Just to give you an idea of the area I'm doing..
Lv room.
Funny thing - the dogs do not like the concrete. We had to take a piece of the old carpet and give it to them so they would lay down. They keep walking around trying to find a place they felt comfortable to do so.
One of the 2 bedrooms of equal size. This is the old tile before demo. God I love demo, so much fun f'ing stuff up....

I said that as soon as we start going back to work all this nice cool, sunny, perfect driving weather we've been having since Mar will turn to rainy, Satan's Ball Sack humid again and can't enjoy the bird.
Day 2 of it

Went camping over the weekend with my brother to celebrate his 30th. Great time and the rain held off.
Bought a new handgun too, M&P Shield 2.0 .45. I couldn't resist, it has a good feel and the price was right.
