I understand Adam and best of luck with that.
Just an update on this. We had some trouble finding someone to donate a car but someone should be dropping off their rear bumper for fitment today. Hopefully I can get some pics up within a couple of weeks or so.

Just wanted to let people know that the thread was deleted over the weekend on ls1tech by mods. It is still going on and they are working on getting the mold completed. Thanks.

Just spoke with Eric yesterday and said the molding is underway and we should see the first prototype piece by Mid June.

Do we have to put money up front, or can we wait till I see that this guy is not ripping anyone off!
No offense to you or the guy making it, but to many times I have seen people getting ripped off including myself!

He'll become a sponsor and post pics of the valance so people can see what they're getting. Don't have to put money up front. You'll see what you're buying before you get it. No offense taken. I wouldn't direct people to someone that will rip them off. I have good feedback (30+ transactions) on ls1tech and I consider myself to be a very stand up guy.
Not trying to break any rules here. I didn't think I was when I first posted this thread. I'm not providing any contact info for a business or anything just tying to gather interest. If this is a problem then let me know.

Currently, I don't see it as being a problem. But before you go to selling anything in mass on LS1.com you will have to get in touch with Ed and become a site sponsor. As long as the thread sticks to updates on the progress and no actual business takes place(business name or info posted) until you are a site sponsor, I will let the thread continue. I will probably have Ed take a look at this thread and he might feel differently as well and pull the thread FYI. It would be a good idea to get into contact with him ASAP though.

If you or Ed could send me a PM with sponsor fees for something like this, that would be great. As of right now, Eric only has the CME valance planned for production. We might get into something like a carbon fiber berger panel once this makes production. One thing at a time. Thanks.

In about 1 week we should have something final but that's not a guarantee. This guy wants 100% fitment so it won't be released until then. It'll also be much sturdier yet still retain flexibility. The SLP piece is pretty flimsy.

The first mold of the valance had fitment problems because they were trying to make a mold without actually using my valance and just looking at it for reference. So, it had some fitment issues.
They started all over about 3 weeks ago and they are now finished with the mold. It just needs to be send to the urethane manufacturer for the first piece to be made. It then needs to be checked for fitment and if there are no problems with that, then it will start production the week after. So it is all finished, just needs to be fitted.
