Yep. KPH, as I understand the vid of the car was. So 1st vid is a run to about 140 mph, 2nd vid run is around 190mph.

I dunno about a dyno, they dont shift like that. I do think that the wheels are lifted off the ground though.

any vehicle with that acceleration would pop the front wheels off the ground instantly.

Mmm.... l've got a treat for speed fans.
A turbo hayabusa, this one on pump gas. With an extended swingarm.
It's from some guys here in America, so they've got a speedometer that IS in miles per hour.
Watch that accleration when it's got the engine WOT in the topend. 70-200mph in about 3 seconds. Zooming past cars on the highway though.
This next vid shows what it's like to have 500 horsepower in a 500 lb body. Wait till the end of the vid.
Street driven.

BTW, if anyone is interested in more info, the bike in the 1st vid was featured in the sept 2004 sport rider, and the owner posts at hayabusa.org.
GPS indicated top speeds of a couple runs.
Last I saw of him, he was at 260 or so mph, and was complaining about how it's hard to hold on with a 260 mph wind blowing in your face.

I wouldn't be too skeptical of the original video. The odometer is ticking off like it should be, and keeping in mind that its in km/h its not completely impossible. Unlikely, but it is possible. Plus it says it's an Evo 6 and those little things cen be pretty quick on the top end. Initial accel looks a little quick though...
EDIT: Basically I'm a ramblind contradiction, and I don't really have an answer.
Regarding the bike; it says top speed: enough. I didn't know that was possible . Hmm, you learn something new every day.Last edited by jimbo98z; 02-18-2006 at 05:35 PM.
