How Dark is your window tint?

i live in TN also.. winchester.. (franklin county), i have had 5% on every single car of mine but 1.. and i have had VERY few officers ever even mention anything about it.. and ive been pulled over a LOT in a lot of different places.. by troops county local.. i wouldnt worry about it here.

The places I go to get my window tinted says virginia beach is 50% tint legal. I suppose i need 2 look into that if dmcgill says 35%

so true. specially at night tryin to make a left turn. i had 5% all around on my previous camaro and was never hassled by the pigs. im not sure whats on my z now, maybe 15-20%. it was on when i bought it.

I think mine's 5%, but I'm not completely sure. It was on there when I bought it. All I know is it's waaayyy illegal!!

My old man just had 20 (rear) and 35 (sides) put on his c5, and I can see through his fine when standing next to his. However, if you stand next to my ws6, you can't see shit inside it, even in broad daylight.

not sure what the law is in ur state but i would just go with the legal limit. true u can roll them down when they walk up to the car but that only works if they pull you over for something other than ur tints. I went really dark in the back and love it except when i have to back up at night. i wouldn't bother tinting the t tops, they're already tinted but i guess it would be cool to have them darker.

let me get this straight, is a higher percentage brighter and lower percentage darker? i thought it was the other way for some reason

example: 20%=20% of light gets in. 5%=5% of light gets in.

i did 20 on the sides an 5 on the back an t tops and as soon as they were done putting them on my car i got pulled over 30sec later an got a tint ticket hahaha thats just my luck in n.j. but the tints look sexy as hell
