It depends on how heavy the car is and how bad the DA was that day.

Mine traps at 118 mph and some change with a 3,000 DA (still has some in it). Made 638 hp at the flywheel,,,pushing through a 400 turbo with a loose converter and a 12 bolt,,,,,,might still hit 500 at the wheels (never chassis dynoed the car)

    But it's a 4,108 lbs. tank.

Really need more details to get nit picky on that stuff.

With a 100 shot? That One hundred. How in the heck do you figure 520 HP and 580 TQ? Thats gotta be the meanest 100 shot ever made.
thats been said by a few people, dave from nitrous outlet, my tuner, im just telling you i put what nx says is 100 jets, but i gained 160, so common knowledge would tell you its a 160 shot not a 100, but then on the other hand, im still only spraying n20 out of the same sized orrfice as anyone else with the same kit.

your right, but i mentioned something about using an empty bottle, with maybe 3lbs, it took about 30 minutes on the warmer to get 900psi, so i had no shot at making a full run. ill head back soon

if you make the power you claim you do then your car should trap near 125-130. youre not going to pick up that kind of mph even with a good bottle.

in my area, local cars putting down similar power are touchng 24's. so we will see how close i get. plus are you really arguing dyno numbers?

Many other variables that we could go on about for pages.

Bottom line is,,,it's just not as simple as you made it out to be. One said HP doesn't necessarily mean a said MPH.

Most of these 4th gens don't weigh 3500 lbs. either, especially when a driver is sitting in it.
The lightest one I've ever had was a race weight of 3,770 lbs. You really have to start cutting weight from these things to get down to a fighting weight of 3500 or less.

Yep I now live 5,300 feet up in Prescott. I raced for years in Cincinnati at 700 feet above sea level. But the weather played a factory there,,,,with humidity and hot temps,,,,the DA was never below 3,000 feet most of the summer.
Now in Prescott we don't have a track up here, I have to drive down to Phoenix about 1200 feet above. Makes tuning a real challenge.

Man that stinks, we have to get you down out of the clouds.

There has to be a better track closer to sea level somewhere around you,,,isn't there???

    500+ miles.
Which isn't bad, but I have been WAY too busy to even attempt it.

Then how far would your tune be off?

Checking my tune with a wideband,,,from Cincinnati (700 feet) to Prescott (5,200 feet) I found that the car richens up about .3-.4 tenths on the wideband.

So I have to lean them out up here in Prescott. But when I go to the track in Phoenix (about 1200 feet) I have to fatten them up a bit.

Then you have to factor in DA on top of that,,,which can go either way.

In Luos' case, his tuning difference would be a little more extreme since he is higher up than me.

From what I understand...I would probably end up running fat down at sea level.
I also believe I would have to have a little timing pulled...as I can get away with more since the thin air effectively lowers compression.
