And yeah, I was in a head-on collision several months back in my old Camaro. Head-on + airbag = I was knocked the fuck out. Some old guy that saw the wreck had to come over and wake me up to get me out of the car. My mouth/throat/lungs burned for days afterwards from inhailing that crap too. And it seemed no matter how many showers I took, I couldn't get that smell out off of me for over a week. Made me sick..

I was scared to death though, because my dad works as a supervisor for a Post Office, and just a few weeks prior he was called out to investigate an accident with one of his carriers. Turns out her brakes failed or something and she rolled into a parked car on the street. Anyway, she had to be rushed to the hospital with 2nd and 3rd degree burns on her face/hands/arms from her airbag..

I was waiting on my skin to start peeling off, kept telling that story over and over to the paramedics in the ambulance, and to the docs and nurses in the hospital..

So there insurance company cut me a check for 7500 to have everything done. New bumper whole new dash the whole front end is going to be re painted. There putting in a new k member they are going to use a factory one but I think im going to ask them to put in a BMR one I’m thinking the one for turbo clearance.. Anything I need to know about these?

If you search for it (on this and other 4th gen f-body websites) you will find the BMR has breakage issues.

Definitely a faulty sensor, haha. But that is badass if they are giving you 7,500. for the fix and letting you get a new K member, factory or not. How much was your ded. if you don't mind me asking?
