Turbo LS1 with 317 Heads

was wondering, what do you think aout running 317 heads with cometics .040 gaskets that put the CR (calculated of course) to about 9.9:1 CR? with a TU1 or simlar cam?

Well I'm going for a low compression build my 317s LS9 gaskets and the LS1 we are think I am around 9.5:1... I'm sure it won't matter but for boost I wanted mls gaskets

so as long as they are MLS they shuold be fine? the cometics are MLS

Ya I guess they are lol but the LS9s have more layers for better sealing under boost

i dont plan on anything over 14 psi (hell im gonna stay under 12psi for that matter lol) and im gonna run studs as well, so unless someone has had some heads leaking with this setup, i think im gonna go this route. 9.9ish CR should be an ok drop with pump gas, intercooler, and meth right?
