G8 is a RWD sedan. Prob not too much better in the winter. GTOs can be in the 12's with CAI and headers/tires. G8s are nice though. I just dont care for the looks too much.

Get a new WRX ... Don't even need a STi... The new one is pretty darn fast and gets great traction in the snow.

It would make a great DD in the winter running to and from the slopes imo.

Now if you just dont like the 4 cyl... Get a V8 Hemi Cherokee... Save a bunch and have a blast in the snow. ;-)

Personally, I'm pretty happy with my '04 Jeep Wrangler. It's not fast... but, it's great in the snow and I can park it anywhere in any weather.

Plus, you can get one really cheap these days.... save the extra and supercharge your bird.

If I were you I'd keep the TA, and get the G8 if I had enough money for that. Or I would definitely buy a wrangler for the winter time, still keeping the TA. Wranglers are my favorite Jeep vehicles though...care less for a GC.

I would keep the t/a after its paid for it doesnt cost you anything to own it after that. Maby save that car payment for five or six mo and find an old beater or put a decent down payment on the g8. By that time you might find a barely used one for cheaper.

Keep the Bird and get an older Jeep for a DD. Although the danger in that is you may start modding the Jeep too!

You can't go wrong with a Wranger, but a Grand Cherokee is a good choice too. Add a few inches of lift and some good tires, and they're damn near unstoppable in the snow.

    I have a '97 (ZJ) GC, I love it.

You can get these CHEAP nowadays, and if you get one that's been well cared for, they're actually pretty reliable. Well, at least mine has been...knock on wood ! 138k and counting.

Keep the bird, I wouldn't trade my f-body for any four door, plus no monthly payment is awesome.

Beautiful TA, dude. I say keep it & get a 4x4 for winter. Half the fun of winter is driving through 24" snowbanks anyway.
