What is with texting and chicks?

I do hate it when a girl waits till you drop her off to pick a fight over something and she does it in a txt about 3 minutes after you drive away.

But yeah, B told me that J was taken as we were idling back to the dock at the end of the day on Sunday. Then J gets my number somehow, calls me Sunday night, I missed it, and didnt call it back, because I didn't recognize the number.

Anyways, I talk to her till almost 2am last night (this morning, whatever), she tells me she does NOT have boyfriend. So I'm getting under her skin, saying all the right things today, and grab the work phone and start texting. Then she comes out and says she wants to pursue our friendship further but she's in a jam right now because.... without coming right out and saying it, she's dating some dude who just moved away.

In less than 24 hours of "talking", it's FAIL.

I've decided if she wants to talk, she'll have to give chase. I'm gunna treat her how I think she wants to be treated

All the girls that I've been able to

within the first 2 meetings or 4 no more than 5, I've just treated inferrior to myself and they seem to dig it

If that's the case, heck, there would be one good thing to come of it. I'll get one more under my belt

Drama potential is high in this one...i'd walk away bro. Looks wise she's decent but not worth the bullshit she's a brewin.

I have a like/hate realationship with texting. I like it when I want to make contact with the girl, but don't actually want to talk to her.

On the other hand, I hate the random texts throughout the day that require replies, and as soon as you reply, they shoot 3 more your way. And if for whatever reason you don't reply, like maybe you're busy at work or whatever, they get all upset.

And I get pissed when it takes me like a full minute to type out a reply (I suck at texting, I need to get a phone with a full keyboard), and then like 5 seconds later she's already banged out a long ass reply that I now need to respond to, in order to not offend her. After I few of these I start shouting "leave me the fuck alone!!" at my phone.

Mr. Luos - I didn't laugh out loud, but I did chuckle a bit at your response. The way I put it makes it imply a little more than what it was, eh?

So I just got off the phone with Jen, talked to her for almost an hour, kind of explained to her that I was a little upset that she lied to me about her "boyfriend." However, she did tell me that she didn't want to lead me on to anything but said she definately wants to continue talking and hanging out. She lives about an hour south of me because of where she goes to college. Her boyfriend she's only known since February, and they've only been "serious" for about a month before he moved 2 hours away (an hour north of me) this past weekend. She said he's gotten to be pretty controlling, has double standards, and so she doesn't know how it will all work out. But, like I said, that she wants to continue to talk and hang out without diving into anything.

What's weird is that I, yes I, am usually the one to lead girls on,

and then leave. I'm never one to get tied up in emotions and try to push anything. I duno what it is about this girl, but she just seems so genuine

Maybe it's because I know she really likes me, but she doesn't wanna say anything, and she doesn't want to cheat?

I told her to call me tomorrow, since I've been the one making the phone calls and sending the texts the past 2 days... if she calls and wants to talk tomorrow evening, I guess it'll tell me if she's interested enough
