Red Fire- 2007 Mustang GT/CS
I guess I am lucky, I didn't buy my SS thinking it was faster. I got it cause I loved the look of the scoop and kicktail. Thanks for posting that link about Ram - Air, extremely informative.
And to Leviathan, don't be sorry man. You can add the 9" and TT's easier than you can add the hood and kicktail. (paint and fitment issues etc).
I do envy the Z28's the whole racing heritage thing tho.

What idiot can hear True duals dumped and still think its a V6? Now that I am cammed maybe no one will make that mistake oh well it was good while it lasted.

Black on black.- 2001 WS6 M6 (stock)
Call it luck, but my WS6 seems stronger than other F-bodies. Maybe since it was from a roll and they were auto, but headers, LID, bullet muffler, no cats, still didn't give him more than the few feet he inched on me from 70-115mph He maybe inched 3'. Not bad for a stock WS6 vs. him with all his dang boltons.

Differnt f-bodys are faster, Most people i know cant break out of the 13s with a f-bdy with a few bolt ons, i have just headers, exhaust and a lid and untuned i ran a 12.87. The only way to how fast you are is to run your car.

bring it bud. my car is possessed.
(quote from a friend) crap nonetheless
i like racing ss and ws6 models for the measuring stick effect, because it lets me know how far down i am on the proverbial food chain. what ive found, is that its a load of crap.
raced a 35th anniversary ss with lt's and cat back. he had MAYBE a fender on me at 100, maybe. that was back when i had the car at full weight....

I too have taken many WS6s and SSs, the guys try and race me with stock 02s and shit and htink they can win cause the have slp packages. I guess slightly less restritive exhaust and 2 holes in your hood is good for goobs more power lol.

What year WRX was it? I raced a '06 5spd WRX with an axle back exhaust and he took me off the line by about a car but by the time he was in 3rd I had him by about a car and just kept pulling much harder.

I try to stick w/ just racing STi's. The regular ones are way to slow, and the transmission can't handle much power unlike the STi's.
