Well this one comes in two flavors lol the one listed on is rated at 1000 plus rwhp. This one I am going through the build for 1500 plus. But I must tell you putting one of these in a GOAT from what I have gathered is a pain. And the 05-06 computer with these is a major issue also.

I think your giving the VAC MOD to much credit, It contrary to some peoples understading will not cause the trans to shift it simply replaces the PCS not the TCM, However if you dont mind going full manual valve body then the electronics at least are not and issue, But all auto functions will be lost and you will still need to wire up a way to have lockup.

The 5th picture shown is a device called a case saver. It replaces the stock anti clunk spring and more evenly distributes shock against the case lugs. This helps to prevent excessive lug wear in the case or breakage of the case or lugs.
That is a badass idea. Plus i can never figure out which way the damn spring goes. I've built about 10+ 4L60Es/700R4s by myself, and my uncle has to show me time and time again. Lol im a dumbass.
But still thats a sweet idea! Do you guys make those yourself or can you buy them?

Phantom Black Metalic- 2005 GTO
lil update, the 4l80e is just as easy to slide in a GTO as the stock trans, you have to have the new converter for the 80,decide if you want to use a manual valve body or a electronic shift,I have a seperate TCM,which is programable and controls the trans shifts.other then the drive shaft and alil mod to the cross member, the 4l80e is a way better choice for us high power guys in the GTO, since its a heavy car it will eat those weak lil 60/65s no matter who build the dam things , anyone lets say above 550hp might as well upgrade to a way better trans,my car went 9.52@144mph,weight with driver 4270lbs, im very happy with both my PERFORMABUILT 4l80e and their customer service,is the shit,Frank will take care of you! I just glad to have a trans I dont need to tear out every 30-50 passes.
