I didnt really have a dog in the fight, so to speak, but would have preferred NE. Either way, that was a boring shitty game. Lamest super bowl in awhile, not to mention the overall shitty batch of commercials.

I wouldn't call a close game that comes down to a 57 sec drive a shitty game...to me those are the best ones. The commercials were shit though except for that flower one with the hot chic with an accent and lingerie. She's stunning..

Any contest between the (supposed) two best teams in a given sport is going to come down to mistakes. That's the super bowl...two excellent teams meet, whichever one makes the most mistakes loses. The only thing that surprised me this time is that the patriots even got two HUGE botched calls their way and still lost. Both those errors were just inexcusable.

I haven't seen many great super bowl commercials in the last few years. They are clearly running out of ideas. There were some decent ones this year, but nothing like the "good 'ole days". They're all so hyped up now, how could they possibly deliver?

You said it supposed. clearly these teams either weren't ready for it or the NFL as a whole sucks.
Later of the 2 is where my money is, I used to be a rabid NFL fan before free agency and money took the league over.
Commercials I can understand somewhat why they went down. It's not they ran out of ideas, we see good ones all year long. $3.5 for 30 seconds kinda eats away of what you can spend on doing one.
This money thing again is why we see people that look like there close to death or lost their talent doing half time!!
