look at the movie SPEED, they used 25 different busses!

yeah, like 2fast2furious, (I was bored so I watched the extras) they had four EVO's for different things. like when they crashed the gate(fake as it gets), they destroyed one evo. They have one 'hero' car that is perfect and detailed for the close ups and stuff.

Yeah, everyone started yelling when bumblebee scanned the 08 camaro. like I said, great advertising.

did anyone else think it had the same kinda...kinda story line as National Treasure?

great grandfather was an explorer, old glasses holding a clue, no one believed him, and or the story, same inspirational music. Good vs. evil?

anyone?

on a side note, this movie rocked.

yeah, but when its cars turning into robots and fighting does there really need to be a story?

I say it for the first time in OH.. and when the new Camaro rolled up.. the WHOLE audience started clapping and cheering for the next like 2 or 3 minutes! It was awesome! But then again, with it being so close to the Norwood plant.. I can expect that..

i dont' think they glorified the new camaro's first appearance enough. Seriously, i thought that bumblebee was supposed to be wrecked, then repaired as the new 09. I didn't like how they just scanned things and emulated them.

I couldn't agree more.. I liked the way the series did it...

Thats how I had expected it to go as well.. but oh well. THe movie way was a fast, easy way to explain how they look like our vehicles.. especially with so many people not knowing what TransFormers were... (When the first previews came out.. lots of kids were asking, "Whats a Transformer?".. I was like

They're making a sequel to National Treasure, book of secrets or some crap. Should be good.

I personally think they screwed up on Starscream and Megatron.. they didn't have the same relationship in the movie that they did in the series.. nor did they look or sound the same... but I still love the movei and look forward to the sequel.

I thought starscream and megatron were perfect. Yeah they looked different, but Bay wanted to give them a more alien/sinister looking appearance. When I first watched it, I thought they looked eerily similar, like they're both the same person, but Starscream's smaller. In reality, they are, but Starscream was cast as the second-in-command that always wanted Megatron's power.

He's the underdog, baby! You can't root against an underdog!

because IMO a giant robot changing into a gun doesn't make any sense, i never got that when i was little and i still don't

True, it didn't make any sense for him to be a gun, and it shows him and starscream's relationship a little bit more. They're very alike. And anyways, he wasn't really a jet, he was a cybertronian jet. He never got to scan anything from here, as he crash landed....

Although, it would have been badass to see megatron pop out of somebody's holster and slash the fuck outta them!
