Black/Black- 98 WS6/04 Sierra Dmax
Made 465rwhp and 430rwtq through the muffler, It would have been a bit higher but the car couldn't get traction on the rollers.

Very impressive Chris 465rwhp!!! NICE!!!
Got my estimate on the damage today. 5k!! Damn GM parts are expensive these days. My TrueFiber hood was cheaper then the bumper/supports and the headlight assembly. Also got my BMR SFC today. Hawk rotors and brakes should be here in a few days. New LCA's, sway bars and shocks are my next addon. Rear end gear then Frost tune. I should be done for the summer..... YEAH......RRRRight!!!

meguiar's ultimate compound...i've used 3M, turtle, etc in the past but I tried meguiar's and i'll probably use it from this point forward. The best part is that you can do it by hand if you dont have a power buffer and it still looks great. Other compounds dont allow you to do that because of how abrasive they are. I've got a few scratches here and there that it got rid of, anything that was deep enough to not fade away im going to hit with some scratch filler/remover before sealing the paint back up. I also used it on the tail light that is built into the wing on my car and it polished it right up...I was happy about that because it was a little hazy from oxidation.

It's a thought Ben. When I get the next shipment of "toys" I'll see what were doing. Maybe a road trip is in the picture.
This weekend were going to weld the SFC and change that oval exhaust pipe. Drivers side from the "Y" pipe to the muffler. And something that has bothered me since I got this. My Dual tips seem to hang a wee bit to low for my taste. Going to break the welds and trim a few inches to bring them up a bit. Were basically stock from the cats to the MagnaFlow muffler and tips. I'd like to have a little more "throat" to it....but that can wait.
oh...btw...Meguiars is awesome. That's all I ever use. Ultimate polish, Ultimate NXT wax and Detailer.Last edited by Nutball; 06-26-2013 at 04:11 PM.

Finished the rubbing compound on the car...finished sanding my TT2's and re-polished them...finished the autotrix passenger side window fix...AND installed my new power antenna. Was a busy weekend
almost forgot...I found a bumper insert off a wrecked pewter TA...I sanded that down and painted it too. Only cost me $25 vs the $89+ I have seen them going for online...winning!Last edited by theorangeguy; 07-01-2013 at 06:42 AM.

absolutely...my passenger side motor would make it about half way up and half way down before I did the fix. Now the motor goes all the way up and down with out stopping and it goes pretty quick. The first couple of days it would go a little over 3/4 of the way up/down but now it flies up and down. It was almost like it woke the motor up since its getting more volts
That is $35 I would spend over and over again...the autotrix guys had it shipped within 10minutes of me hitting the pay button on the site.

This week I am going to finish up the back end, I pulled my Ford 9" off to replace the locker and put a posi back in it, and while I was in there I replaced the axle bearings, then I got the Tick master cylinder I am going to put on, looking forward to be able to shift easy again, not to mention street drive it with out the clatter of the locker to. I will post some pics while I am doing the job. While I pulled the axle out to I replaced the trans crossmember with the UMI one that moves the torque arm to, that was fun, again I will post pics later!

1999 Formula WS6 M6-sold- 2001 Silverado Z71
I sold my car today
I feel like I've completely explored everything I wanted to explore with my car. But in the back of my mind, I know I'm gonna regret this.
On the upside, I plan on using the cash to buy a boat or an RV/camper. Something I can enjoy with my family and friends. That's kinda a main reason right there. The car was all about me. Now its time for the family.
Buy old friend
