Someone broke into by brothers mustang and stole his GPS , Subs , Amps , Gauges, and KB SC. they broke the window and the insurance company is being real dick wads. plz dont bash i know its a mustang but its around 10 thousand in merchandise. and its really affected him. he's put all his money into his car and some assholes broke in and pretty much ruined his car. they broke the Super charger while trying to remove it. its so fucking gay. What can i do? or has anyone dealt with something like this ?

A. I didn't think insurance covered car audio? could be wrong though.

b. How in the hell did they have enough time to try and take the S/C after taking all the car audio stuff? 10G in stuff and no viper alarm?

either way sorry to hear that, someones car I know just got broke into and they took everything.

yea they didnt really jack the whole SC. they sorta just broke the blower part off and pretty much ruined it. its so upsetting because that was one of the few mustangs that i respected

They do up to a certain dollar value which would be outlined in your policy (typically it is not much more than $1000)

But you can add certain endorsments to your policy which allow you to be covered up to the value of the stereo. It really varies between companies.

As for the property side of things, usually they will tell you that it would be covered under your property insurance for your house. Again, there are exceptions like the GPS should be covered as part of the car because that is where it is used. The Supercharger should be covered under theft/vandalism

Again, ALLLL depends on your Ins. company and i could bet you that they could find loopholes to get out of paying for just about all of that stuff.

And if he doesn't have the coverage... then he is S.O.L and you better hope you find the fuckers who did it

Damn, You have had some shitty luck lately.

Coming from a young guy having the "scare" happen to me twice with two different girls now, its just easier to wear a rubber. Yea it sucks that you cant feel shit but atleast ur getting ass.

And about the mustang, If he has a supercharged, 10k in audio, etc. he needs to be smart enough to have coverage on all of his shit on his car, yeah it will make rates higher but not 10k plus another 4k for the supercharger...another thought where the hell was his car alarm?
