A buddy of mine and I went to a car show two weeks ago and a 79(I think) Vette rolled in. Black with the factory wheels. Had a nice, choppy idle. We thought it was a cammed, factory-engined Vette. WRONG!!! Had a 572 under the hood and the lic plate read 572 CID. Had BFG G-Force Drag radials all around, custom fabbed Corsa exhaust. The builder did away with the monoleaf in the rear and went with QA1s all around. Still had the "Cross-Fire Injection" badges on the front fenders but it was NASTY. Originally Posted by Blackbird-WS6

largest engine i've seen was my buddy lee who had a 640 cu in that had a blower about the size of a 6 cyl sitting on top... it's a shame he sold it...

That car was immaculate. I thought it was a RamJet 572 but the guy told me it was a custom-built block and plenum. Had the Accel Hyfire box hidden in the driver side front fender so there was very little wiring in the engine compartment. Originally Posted by Spaz
