kibbles....he doesn't really eat much IMO for how big he is. If anything he could stand to eat a little more for his size. He regulates his own food......we just keep the pan full and he just grazes throughout the day. I'd say a 50lb bag will last us 3 weeks or so. I'm sure he'll turn up the heat at some point on the eating but right now he's pretty thin but he's also young and very tall. I want him to get that big bull st benard look to him. The bigger the better. He's a huge lovable teddy bear. He adores the kids and any friends of theirs that come over. He has started growling and barking at strangers which I have no problem with as long as it's just strangers and he's not actually trying to bite. Just seeing him and hearing that deep bark should be enough for most sane people to stay away if they don't know him.

Oh ok that's cool. Kind of expected him to eat a lot. I could probably leave food out all the time for the pit but the shepherd would eat all day if I let her. Orion you really like big... I mean huge dogs huh? lol. I was really surprised at how fast my dogs grew so close to my gf and I. We've only had them for a little long then a month and a half and they just have complete trust and so much love for us. They are such teddy bears but even better they're warm. The shepherd loves people and other dogs, as long as they are not barking crazy at her then she gets in guard dog mode. The pit is a very good guard dog when it comes to strangers then I tell her its ok and she looks at the like "PET MEEEEE".

Kami was adopted at 8 weeks old last October so she's about 1 yr and 3 months now. She's about 47 lbs of pure muscle.

she is a beautiful dog. mine is just a little bigger and the pure muscle never ceases to amaze me with these dogs. they are all heart but they really are built like bulls for their size.

Oddly, Kami NEVER barks...she just wags her tail constantly. The only time she barks is when I'm rough housing with her, when I tell her to for a treat, or when she hears someone outside (example when the mailman delivers mail)...other than that, never. Kind of a big difference from the pure bred black lab I had before. She wouldn't ever shut up

My shepherd is going through a whining stange. I've gotten her to cut down but once she gets around her mother (my gf) she goes crazy. Other than that no random barking. But if something/someone is on the other side of the fence that's not suppose to be they'll both let me know.

I was trying to explain to my gf how bad shepherds haird is. But she has this thought in her head that she's going to stay like she is. lol she's in for a big surprise.

Well here's a another dog that may never leave lol. He was found running around my friend's neighborhood. So she took him home feed him and he laid in her lap just soaking up some attention then played with her dogs. She has 3 small dogs. She said he showed no aggression or anything. So she called our house at like 6 am saying she was going to bring him when she was on her way to work. She going to put up signs and everything in her area to try to find his home. If they dont contact us within 3 months we will try and find him a home. By that time he will grow on us and we probably wont want to let him go to a new home. So here is a possible new dog lol. Our shepred like him a lot he likes her. However the pit doesn't like him that much but she was the same way with the shepred but I've bee working with them together they are getting better. He's a little thin and has quite a bit of drool for a pit so he needs to see a vet and makes sure he's healthy and check for microchip.
