Silver- 2003 GTI 1.8T :(
questions like that are going to get a nice variety of answers from people that have personal experience with one and not the other...
its just a known fact... for instance... i have a tsp cam... im obviously going to say hey i love tsp they are gret, but when in fact thunder could be better... point being... research what is best for you... we can help steer in the right direction but most people arent going to think their opinion through... thats my philosophical thought for the day

well i was just wondering what the general consensus was before i wasted time reasearching a cam that was no good
obviously i'm going to call the company up and ask them more in depth questions and more detailed questions so when it DOES come time to order the heads/cams I get the perfect one for me

If you go with a different cam do you suggest getting headers? I really don't want to until i get a different exhaust since I heard slp loudmouth sux with headers. How much roughly does a cam install cost? And what extra do you need to buy for the install. I am also looking at getting a better cam for my dd. Please help with links as well if you could.
2000 Arctic White trans am, ws6 hood, ws6 air box, slp lid, slp smooth bellows, slp loudmouth exhaust, shift kit, rebuilt trans, LS6 intake, 3.73 gears, Shaner S3 p/p throttle body, and a tune . SFC. C6 ZO6 rims 18" in back 17" in front. Drilled and slotted rotors.

Headers usually come before a cam, like a prerequisite.

Get the headers first. If all your info about loudmouth is simply just what you have heard on here then don't worry about the loudmouth exhaust since sound quality is simply a matter of opinion on here. Put the headers on and judge for yourself. At that point decide if you want to do something about the catback system. Everyones ideas on exhaust are a little different.
