i can tell you first hand that waiting till you "think" you know everything about her wont help. my wife and i dated for 10 years, had three kids, then got married. it was "perfect" till her mommy moved 200 miles away. then, after 6 years of marraige, she took the kids and left. i had to fight for joint custody of the kids, which is pretty much the best the guy can ask for in this "fair" court system. luckily, she didnt go after my camaro... just everything else!!! im happy to say that i still have the car and it was a trade well worth it!!! just think about it man... they do and will change no matter what you do. its the nature of the beast... if you have to lose the car or the girl... keep the car... you wont regret it and you'll know for sure how many miles the car has gone and how hard its been driven!!! lol

I pretty much just ended up with my car at the end of the relationship. One of the reasons I ended up selling it was from the memories I had with my car and the ex-wife. I was pretty much numb when I handed over the keys, but felt all better after I bought my SS.
