whether a t/a or a camaro or a vette looks better or worse than each other is purely an opinion and is a stupid thing to debate.
i like what ive seen with toyota in this country because it seems that they are trying to contribute to this economy with more and more plants and more manufacturing state side. i have no real problem with toyota and i actually dont mind the newest tundra they put out-but i still wouldnt buy it over a chevy.
chrysler to me is just a cluster fuck and the experiences ive had with my dad having a chrysler product have left me pretty salty towards their attitude, service, and car quality. i cant speak of their cars from 2004 ,model year to present but my dad has an 03 voyager and i had a 2001 cirrus. things go haywire despite highway miles, light drivng, and proper maitenance at suggested intervals.
i have owned a toyota pick up that would not stop running, i owned a 94 explorer that took more shit than i could ever throw at it with one tranny rebuild and nasty sagging of the front i beam suspension, and all the chevy products ive owned have been reliable as hell.
my dsm was a piece of garbage. i suppose thats when i was through caring about imports and started viewing chrysler in the same manner....
oh well.

Agreed. In fact, I've found many newer Domestic cars that actually are much nicer quality than their import competition. In fact, the new GM truck interiors are so nice that Toyota had to delay the introduction of the Tundra last year at the last minute to redesign the interior in order to at least try and match the GM trucks. The tables have turned, finally.
maybe a few years ago qualities were different but the domestic market realize they had lost millions by assuming that americans would still pay the same price for lesser quality simply because these cars were "american". the rapid profit loss has humbled ford and gm to say the least and has caused them to really step up their game all across the board.

I know, weird, isn't it?!?!? I've found myself thinking that exact same thought throughout this entire thread.

Wow, that's hilarious!!! I got my first warning bickering with Wesman, and now me, an Evo driver and a Mustang driver all find ourselves agreeing with the guy who just might be the most commonly disagreed with member on this site!!!

So I raced my friends Turbo AWD DSM for the first time tonight from 45-100. Well he passed me at first and got about a car on me, up to 90 he had me by two, but I stopped his pull then and by 100 I was sloowwwwwly creeping, but nothing close enough to catch him. So yeah at 100 we both cut off for the red light......
Oh yeah and I was in the 3.8Last edited by fwellingtonfiii; 08-16-2007 at 07:26 AM.
